About this role

The Detection Engineering team within MongoDB’s Security Operations organization plays a critical role in protecting MongoDB, our employees, and our customers. The team’s mission is to proactively identify and surface threats by building robust logging, detections, alerting, and automation that reduce risk across the company, departments, teams, and customers. Detection Engineering designs and operates security monitoring and detections across MongoDB’s corporate, internal SaaS, and customer-facing MongoDB Atlas environments, administering key security regarding SOAR/SIEM and data loss prevention (DLP) systems to monitor our environment and flag signals that are worth deeper investigation.
